Brave Painting Project
The Brave Painting Project was a successful experience for all involved. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Bees Creek Primary School and they trusted me and my concept. I created a safe space for students to explore and experiment with paint and a variety of 'tools'. They tried to relax, let go of fear and our busy rationale minds. We moved our bodies to music and let our intuition lead the way to create bright and colourful artworks.
A selection of the students artworks were displayed along side mine in a real Art Gallery and we had our exhibition. The children kept their original paintings and quality A3 Prints were available for purchase.
My artworks are original acrylic on canvas paintings, some are now available in the shop as fine art reproductions.
I am constantly inspired by our harsh and amazing country. The Kimberly region is special to me and I often have boabs in my paintings. I try to capture the spirit and emotion through bright colour and bold shape. Acrylic on canvas - 101 x 76cm SOLD
Every year when the humidity is turned up a notch the trees start to burst into shady new leaves and flowers and these three visitors fly back into our yard for the wet season. Acrylic on canvas - 61 x 61cm $510
